E-Mail: privacy@v9labs.com
2. Overview of data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our services. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Data processing occurs on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance), or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, a German hosting provider. When you visit our site, Hetzner may process your IP address, browser type, and access times in server log files. This is necessary for delivering the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data is stored exclusively on servers located in Germany. Hetzner’s data processing agreement applies.
4. Analytics & session recording
With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), we use PostHog for web analytics and session recording. PostHog is hosted on EU-based infrastructure. The following data may be collected:
- Pages visited, referrer URL, and time spent
- Device type, browser, and screen resolution
- Anonymized session replays (mouse movements, clicks, scrolls)
- Approximate location (country/city level, derived from IP)
Your IP address is anonymized before storage. You can opt out at any time via the cookie consent banner. For more details, see our Cookie Policy.
5. Contact & inquiry data
When you contact us (e.g. via email or a contact form), we process the data you provide to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). This data is stored only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of your inquiry, or as required by legal retention periods.
6. Scheduling (Cal.com)
We use Cal.com for appointment scheduling. When you book a call, Cal.com processes your name, email address, and any information you provide in the booking form. This is necessary for contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Cal.com's privacy policy applies to their processing.
7. Embedded videos (YouTube)
This website embeds videos from YouTube, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you play an embedded video, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. YouTube may then process your IP address, set cookies, and collect data about your viewing behavior. If you are logged into a Google account, YouTube may associate this data with your profile. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (domain: youtube-nocookie.com) to limit tracking until you actively play a video. The legal basis for embedding is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). For more information, see Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request information about data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure — request deletion of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction — request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured format (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdraw consent — revoke any consent at any time without affecting prior processing (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@v9labs.com.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority for Baden-Württemberg is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg.
